The day after he graduated we headed for the beach! Our trip to Seaside, FL was exactly what we needed. I laid on the beach while the boys played in the ocean. Jellyfish stung Kevin 3 times. We rode our bikes, ate good food and relaxed a lot!
On the opposite end of the vacation spectrum, a couple of weeks ago we went camping. We slept in a tent, but Stacy's dad pulled his camper for the first time and they tested the camping waters. The camper hasn't been listed on craigslist.com yet, so I guess it wasn't all bad. We did some hiking, pedal boating and of course, smores!
This past Saturday we went to the birthday party of the year. Our friends James and Veronica always put on a rockin' party for Grace who was 7 this year. Hmmm - is this a party for kids or adults? Big kids like slip 'n slides too!
Sunday we drove to Brevard, NC to visit the Landry's! Benjamin is getting so big and just too cute for words. He just loved Braden! The house was very cool, the view was breath-taking, but in Braden's eyes nothing compared to the red caboose that was on the property!
This weekend is Braden's party, so more to come afterwards! 5 already?
