Growing up!

We'll start with Braden and his new bike! Thank you Noni and Grandpop! Braden has moved up from his toddler bike to a big boy bike. The main reason he wanted this particular bike was b/c its green and black just like Gravedigger. Intimidated by the size he at first insisted that Kevin put the training wheels on, but after one spin around the driveway they came right back off. After conquering going down the hill, here he is displaying his victory, fist in the air:

Kevin, my dad and I have been working on completing the fence project! Bullseye will be a different dog.....we hope!

We registered Braden for Kindergarten on April 1st. He did so well with his testing and didn't hesitate for a moment going with the staff. He grabbed her hand and off they went - he never once looked back to see where Kevin and I were. When it was time to go he cried and wanted to stay. He's come a long way since his first day (or year) at preschool!

He was on Spring Break this past week, so we tried to do some different things with him. He hung out with Grandma (Stacy's mom) on Monday which is always fun. Plus she has strawberry juice! Sure I could buy it, but we'll let it be a Grandma thing only. Wednesday we had a fun play date with his buddy Cooper. We visited the Environmental Center. Lots of cool hiking trails and water features. Thursday was a daddy and Braden day which included pancakes for lunch at IHOP. Friday we saw Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D!



This has been a longer blog than normal, but the overall theme is, they really do grow up fast! It seem like yesterday that I was worried he'd never walk or talk! Take care & we love you!
